DETAILED ITINERARY

Early Morning – Pick-up from Your Hotel

Your adventure begins with an early morning private pick-up from your hotel in Kosgoda, Ahungalla, Bentota, or Induruwa. As you travel inland, the scenery gradually changes from coastal views to rolling hills, rubber plantations, and dense rainforest.

The drive itself is scenic and offers a glimpse into rural Sri Lankan life.

Arrival in Kithulgala

Upon arrival in Kithulgala, you will meet the professional rafting instructors. Before starting the activity, you will receive a full safety briefing covering rafting techniques, equipment usage, and safety procedures.

All necessary safety equipment is provided, including helmets and life jackets.

White Water Rafting on the Kelani River

The main highlight of the tour is white water rafting on the Kelani River, one of the best rafting rivers in Sri Lanka. The rafting stretch usually covers 5–7 kilometers, depending on water levels and conditions.

During the rafting experience, you will:

The rafting is generally suitable for beginners and does not require prior experience.
